Privacy Policy

BlockRowing ("we", "us") provides a rowing-training platform for coaches and athletes via our website and iOS app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and password (passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider, Supabase), and an optional display name and profile details (sex, date of birth, body weight, height) you choose to add.
• Training content — the programs, sessions, results, tests, and personal bests you create or log.
• Device push token — if you enable notifications in the iOS app, we store a device token so we can send you session and program alerts.
• Basic technical data — standard request information (such as IP address and timestamps) processed by our hosting and database providers to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

• To provide the core features — accounts, programs, training plans, and result logging.
• To show coaches the athletes who have joined their published programs.
• To send push notifications you have opted into.
• To secure the service and prevent abuse.

How your data is protected

Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) and access is enforced by row-level security, so users can only read and write their own data (and, for coaches, the data their athletes have shared by joining a program). All traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.

Sharing

We use service providers solely to run BlockRowing: Supabase (database, authentication, storage) and Apple Push Notification service (for iOS notifications). We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@blockrowing.com. You can disable push notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

Children

BlockRowing is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
